The simulator is installed on a table. Two handles at the bottom of the machine are used to correctly position the patient. The proximal (closest to the center of gravity) support on which the forearm rests is adjustable to a height that keeps the shoulder in a comfortable neutral position.
By raising and lowering the adjusting element with the elbow bent, the position is changed to perform outward-inward rotation of the upper limb, respectively. The knob closest to the handle is used to adjust the correct tilt to the plane of the pronosupination axis (from a palm down position to a palm up position), and the top knob is used to adjust the resistance of the system to the user's movements, which can vary in strength.
