Description

“Sliding latch” (latch, left in top photo): Due to the small size of this instrument, the patient must become proficient in gripping with the first three fingers. It must also link the slight movement in the vertical plane, releasing the latch, and the movement of the rod in the horizontal plane. The patient can also be asked to perform this task without using the visual channel (with eyes closed), which means that he must rely on tactile-kinesthetic information.
"Rotary" handle (shown on the right in the photo): In this case, the grip includes control of the thumb and the side of the second finger. Rotating the handle requires rotational forces of supination and pronation (changing the orientation of the hand “prone” and “supine”).
Dimensions: (cm) 39.5 x 17.5 x 4.5
