The chair should be intended for children with various forms of cerebral palsy, especially in the presence of hyperkinesis, as well as problems in motor and psycho-speech development, in the presence of a clearly defined body structure (scoliosis, kyphosis, etc.).
The chair must have:
• mechanical adjustment of the backrest and footrest tilt using a lock and movement mechanism for a comfortable position and unloading of the child’s spine;
• the back and seat are specially shaped, with grooves for installing head supports and an abductor for the correct posture and maximum comfort for the child;
• head supports, abductor and vest, which securely fix the child in a sitting position;
• on the seat and back there are soft mattresses made of fabric that allows sanitary treatment and is resistant to abrasion, with polyurethane foam filling;
• height-adjustable armrests, providing additional comfort for users of different heights;
• adjustable head supports;
• depth-adjustable, removable table with a contour fence for studying and eating;
• height-adjustable footrest with straps for securing feet;
• welded frame ensuring the stability and reliability of the chair;
• 4 wheels with a diameter of 50 mm, on the two rear wheels - individual brakes;
• easy movement of the chair on the floor.
